• One month, departing 27th September 2008 and returning 25th October 2008. Optional extension up to 7 weeks to continue, or complete Yoga course.
  
  
• Fly in and out of Delhi; stay one night in central New Delhi. Optional shopping and sightseeing. Stay in budget hotel in Main Bazaar, Pahargang.
  
  
• Travel by train to and from Rishikesh (approximately seven hours).
  
  
• Stay at the Ved Niketan Ashram in Rishikesh (single or twin share room).
  
  
• Daily classes (mornings only) in Yogic Philosophy and Meditation, part of a 6 week Advanced Yoga Study Course, run by Swami Dharmananda.
  
  
• Optional: Hatha Yoga classes available in ashram.
  
  
• Optional Ayurvedic massage and Astrology readings.
  
  
• Visit local temples, ashrams, and Ramana’s Garden (orphanage and school).
  
  
• Walk or drive to local scenic places along Ganges and into the hills.
  
  
• Journey by jeep to Kodiya Himalayan Retreat (run by Ramana’s Garden charity), stay 2 nights.
  
  
• Continue on to Gangotri to the source of the Ganges. Accommodation at Government Resthouse for 4 nights.
  

Pilgrim leaders are experienced Indian travellers, having travelled or lived there over many years. Their main focus there has been for spiritual enquiry and pilgrimage.

Tour price: $3200 includes return flights, airport taxes, transfers, land travel to Rishikesh and Gangotri, shared accommodation, Yoga course (not included- meals, single room, optional extras, local travel, porters and sightseeing). Discounts available for prior pilgrims.
